The State Street Reconstruction Project has begun in downtown Albany. You will see survey crews and construction crews working during the day. Asphalt nightwork will begin this week from 8:00PM - 6:00AM. There will be traffic shifts and parking restrictions throughout this project. There will be electronic message boards with updated information. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL BUSINESS WILL REMAIN OPEN AS USUAL. There will be some growing pains associated with this project, but in the end, everyone who works, lives and visits the downtown area is going to totally enjoy the end result.
